Jade Gong is a strategic adviser to executives of healthcare systems, post-acute providers, associations, and technology companies. She has deep financial expertise in Medicare and Medicaid payment, operational knowledge of post-acute and
long-term healthcare programs, and strategic insight into new, value-based payment models.
Jade has held senior positions at Health Dimensions Group, the American Health Care Association, and the National Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Association (NPA). She began her career as a Registered Nurse at New York Hospital in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.
Many healthcare systems, long-term care providers, and community organizations have engaged Jade to help them implement strategic plans. Such projects have included development of new PACE programs, care management models, and integrated continuums of healthcare. Most recently, she successfully guided several healthcare systems and post-acute providers to becoming Medicare bundled payment awardees.
Jade also has recognized expertise in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) long-term care services delivery. While at NPA, she successfully collaborated with the VA and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to offer a PACE benefit to veterans. Jade has been appointed to several advisory bodies to the VA including the Federal Advisory Committee on the Future of VA Long-Term Care. Jade is a frequent speaker at national healthcare industry meetings, including those for the American Hospital Association, the Catholic Health Association, Leading Age and the NPA. She is also the author of numerous publications on healthcare trends, strategy, and payment.
Jade received a Master of Business Administration from the Yale University School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University.
