Kathleen Griffin
Kathleen Griffin, PhD is recognized as one of the nation's foremost authorities in post-acute care and senior services and is an affiliate consultant to JGA.
In a career that spans more than 35 years, Dr. Griffin has assisted more than 500 hospitals, acute and post-acute health systems, and healthcare organizations with strategic planning, feasibility studies, and development and operations of post-acute care as well as senior care continuums. She has served as a content expert for the Joint Commission and for the post-acute committee of Pioneer Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI). Hospitals, long-term care and home care providers, senior living communities and payers value her expertise, experience and assistance in establishing new and innovative business models and partnerships for chronic care management, home/community-based services and management of total cost of care. Previously, she served as National Director, Post-Acute and Senior Services for Health Dimensions Group; CEO, American Transitional Hospitals, Houston, TX; and, President and COO, Rebound, Inc., Nashville, TN. She also was CEO and COO for national healthcare associations in Washington, DC and began her healthcare career in hospital administration. |
